On Tuesday, October 8, we will be heading out for a full-day Community Walk. Here are the details of the day:
8:45 - Leave Ramsay School, walk up to the top of the hill, down the steps, and along the Elbow River pathway to Inglewood
9:15 - Visit Mohkinstsis; Journalling activity
9:45 - Walk to East Village playground, Snack and playground break
10:30 - Visit St Patrick's Island and Bloom structure; Journalling activity
11:15 - Lunch at St Patrick's Island playground
11:45 - Walk to Esker Foundation in Inglewood
12:15-2:15 - Program at Esker Foundation
2:15 - Walk back to Ramsay School
Please ensure your child comes with appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear, a comfortable backpack, a water bottle and plenty of food. Please help them make sure there aren't extra things in their backpack.
The Esker Foundation is generously offering us this program free of charge, so this entire Community Walk is free!
