Today, Student Council showed us how to make Koala Cards. We are sending these to the volunteer firefighters as a thank you for volunteering for such a dangerous thing which is helping fight the Australian Wildfires. Also the volunteers are there with their own money. A lot of schools are doing this. The Student Council pre-drew the shapes to create the koala cards, we just had to cut and glue the parts together. We had fun making these cute koala cards.
We also had a bake sale for a koala to support the Australian animals. The koala we are supporting was named Smartypants. And it also supports Smartypants's habitat and the other animals thats live there too!
