Community Walk: Public Art Walk

We went on a Community Walk Scavenger Hunt to find public art pieces. Ms Elder put us in five different groups and gave us 8 pictures. We had to work together to try to find them and take a picture in front of them. Then, we had to place a pin mark in the right spot on the map. If you found the art, you get points and if your pin is in the right spot, you get points. The group with the most points gets to pick the gym activities for the rest of the week. All of the art pieces were in Ramsay and Inglewood, and on the Stampede Grounds.

Planning our routes and estimating where the pieces are on the map

This garbage can represents the community because it shows the Inglewood bridge and where the Elbow and the Bow rivers meet, which is called Mohkinstsis. The other garbage can in our Scavenger Hunt had a picture of the Calgary Tower and skyline.
