Today we agreed upon some expectations for when we're outdoors. Here's what we created:
Expectations when Outside
Care for Self
Play safely:

Having three
points of contact when hanging on the playground equipment

Staying under the
monkey bars; not climbing over the outside of the equipment
Listen for bells or teachers
calling out instructions and come off the equipment immediately when asked.
Care for Others
Share or take turns fairly.
Include everyone in games;
make sure everyone knows the rules before beginning to play and keep the rules
the same throughout.
Care for Place
Put litter in its place.
Be kind to the environment
and animals. Travel quietly when on Community Walks as we’re in their home.
Respect the equipment
(playground structure, balls, skipping ropes, etc) and help clean up after
using them.
